I had a dream … it was to explore the world; to meet people from different places and exchange ideas. Every move I have made in my career has led me here, now. Each step has been considered and progressive and I have been privileged to work in several different functions, different countries, harnessing my desire to learn and grow. The last 16 years has seen me progress from Sales Executive to Head of Supply Chain for Dishman Carbogen Amics, a global outsourcing partner for the pharmaceutical industry which offers a portfolio of development, scale-up and manufacturing services to its clients. I attribute my success to my strong people skills, my constant drive to optimise business performance and my ability to take a holistic global view of the business. My recent successes include leading the critical, complex Brexit risk mitigation project which was necessary to retain our European client base which accounted for 90% of our business. The project was delivered within the tight, non-negotiable six-month deadline and we achieved zero loss of business. I was also proud to develop a successful outsourced business in Shanghai, which enabled the sourcing of raw materials to complete internal projects and facilitate new business opportunities. This resulted in a significant uplift in revenue.An earlier achievement was my secondment to Shanghai in 2015 to transform a dysfunctional site. Here, I set up two new trading companies and brought operations to GMP operational level with strong revenue streams within 18 months. I raised team morale and led the successful implementation of a new ERP system which provided management with visibility of the data for the first time.Always up for a challenge and passionate about adding value, I feel my strengths are offering a more holistic, strategic view to solve critical issues and drive business forward.Open minded and self-motivated, people enjoy working with me as I am warm hearted, fun, hard-working and I deliver what I say.
